History

Originally dating from 1890, our building has a rich history as a guest house. Until just before the Second World War, it was called "Schwarzer Adler", then until the early 2000s "Bayerischer Hof", and then the previous owner renamed the house "Haus Brabant" and rebuilt, renovated and, above all, modernised it in several stages. The front of the house (then right on the street) was moved to the back and almost all flats since then have all windows on the side and back. Any noise from the already not so busy street is thus minimised.

And now, since mid-2023, we can call ourselves proud owners and have chosen the name "Alpenglühen".

The name Alpenglühen refers to a meteorological phenomenon: In the evening sun, the mountains glow red (Alpenglühen), a sign that the next day will be another beautiful day. And that is exactly what we want to offer you in this beautiful and inviting place:

A wonderful place for a long or shorter holiday, in all seasons!
